Sports Field Services LLC

Sports Field Services LLC is a field maintenance contractor based in Hawthorne, New Jersey, working with baseball and softball facilities throughout New Jersey and the broader Northeast region. The company serves a wide range of clients, from Little Leagues and municipal recreation departments to high schools, colleges, and professional teams — essentially any level of play where a well-maintained infield surface makes a difference in both safety and game quality.

Infield maintenance work at this level typically covers the full range of surface and structural needs that keep a field playable season to season. Sports Field Services LLC handles field renovations, new construction, season-opening preparation, infield resurfacing, mound and plate rebuilds, drainage corrections, and ongoing maintenance programs. Beyond hands-on field work, the company also conducts maintenance workshops aimed at volunteer grounds crews, giving youth leagues practical skills to improve and sustain their fields between professional visits. Sound drainage and consistent surface grades are fundamental to reducing injuries and extending the life of any infield.
